Visionary Leadership with John C. Maxwell

During Friday morning's general session, world-renowned leadership expert and entrepreneur John C. Maxwell captivated the LifeWave audience with his humorous and poignant training on the five everyday essentials of success.

Here is a brief recap of John Maxwell's training:

1- Personal Growth

Do you have a personal growth plan? John Maxwell reminded us that the first investment in your LifeWave business should be YOU. Growth is not automatic. No one coasts to greatness. By mastering yourself, you can master your business.

2- Connecting with People

Relationships are the foundation of leadership. When looking at a new opportunity, people will buy into the leader before they will buy into the vision. To become a relationship expert, value people, and find ways daily to add value to their lives.

3- Mindset Matters

Mr. Maxwell shared an incredible quote. He said:

"You don't have to believe in me for me to be successful, but I have to believe in me to be successful."

How we think about ourselves and what we're doing makes all the difference. He reiterated that mindset is a choice.

4- Leadership

Everything rises and falls on leadership. To become a great leader, combine personal leadership skills with good values. The people who are the best leaders will build the most successful businesses.

5- Significance Matters

Success and significance are not the same. Rather than aiming for success, which is about me, look to make a difference by adding lasting value to people's lives. This is why significance matters — and it's what LifeWave is all about.

Digital Persuasion Expert, Erin King

Erin King, digital entrepreneur and persuasion expert, energetically shared tips to getting people to say "tell me more" when you're sharing your LifeWave story online.

Persuasion is Personal

Show about you, but post about them. Invite your online audience into your post by relating what you have to say to an experience with which they can connect.

Persuasion is Useful

Share what your audience can't get from the image. What's the backstory of the image you're posting?

Persuasion is Brief

In the digital age, attention spans are shorter than ever. Grab your audiences attention and "land the plan" by asking a question or inviting them to share their opinion.

The messages you send online are moment makers.
