Downtown Market Plaza

City Council heard a presentation on the progress of the Downtown Market Plaza redevelopment project. A series of three public engagement meetings will take place on Monday, Oct. 25 to receive feedback from citizens and stakeholders on programming and activities for the public spaces. Biederman Redevelopment Ventures, the public space manager, will lead the meetings. Information gathered from the meetings will be used to develop the programming which will then inform the design of the project.

Lane4, the project’s master developer presented future action items and the project timeline. The final conceptual master plan with a preliminary budget is expected to be complete in mid-March. Construction of the public component of the project will be complete in early 2024.
