I’ve helped thousands of people get unstuck by igniting their courage and creativity towards profound transformation. Having deep fun is part of the process, especially during these tumultuous times. I coined the term ‘the final 8th’ while working with talented, motivated and dedicated clients who accomplished many steps toward their cherished goals, yet found themselves failing in sight of victory. This led to New World Library publishing my ground-breaking book, ‘The Final 8th: Enlist Your Inner Selves to Accomplish Your Goals.’
Since my childhood in Harlem, the unspoken dynamics between people in life and art as well as the musical kaleidoscope of cultures has been an inspiration. It fueled my diverse career of discovering the multiple intelligences we hold the keys to. Out of college I worked on Capitol Hill, was a fitness trainer and followed my dream to become a professional performer. The idea that a healthy personality consists of different inner selves was familiar to me, as this was my canvas on which to draw my characters. My writing led to entertainment journalism including covering The Cannes Film Festival for Hollywood.com and Sandy Kenyon of 1010 WINS, as well as sharing the standup stage with the likes of Amy Poehler, Lewis Black, Sundra Croonquist and Jim Gaffigan at Caroline’s, Gotham, Stand Up NY, NY Comedy Club and more. I created and performed in MUDDERS, the first Cyber Sit.Comedy as well as in my 2-person show Off the Rack: Cruelty in Retail.
While searching for creativity tools I stumbled upon Voice Dialogue, a revolutionary technique where you access your different alter egos and discover their wisdom. It was developed by the Drs. Hal and Sidra Stone, who became my mentors. As I trained in this modality and witnessed the rapid and intense healing it repeatedly initiated, I shifted my focus.

I enrolled in Columbia University’s School of Social Work, have the rare distinction of graduating as a certified Dialectical Behavior Therapist (DBT) and became a psychotherapist in private practice. I founded The New York Voice Dialogue Institute and have led workshops internationally including Omega Institute, New York Open Center, the Expressive Therapies Summit, NYC Chapter of the International Coach Federation, NYU Behavioral Health Center, The Actors Fund, CŪRA Blu and more.

At the heart of my commitment to the life-changing techniques I teach and practice is my devotion to accessible wellness. Toward that end, I created my free Introduction to Voice Dialogue on-line course, guested on a hundred podcasts, and am quoted as a health and wellness expert in US News, Yahoo! Life, Huffpost, Mashable, AskMen, Real Simple, Bustle and more.

Our dreams are priceless. The cost of being stuck, incalculable. The world needs our gifts.
