Need to submit those fall transfer applications? Visit the ACC Career and Transfer Center at the Highland Campus from 10am-3pm to get in-person assistance with completing and submitting your transfer applications.

UT Spring Admissions Deadline

Thinking about applying to The University of Texas at  Austin for Spring 2025? The deadline for spring admissions is September 1, 2024. While the earlier deadline will allow you to receive your admissions decisions earlier, this also means you’ll need to complete your application earlier.

 

Steps for Transferring This Fall

If you’re transferring this fall, be sure to meet with an advisor at your new university early, check your email regularly, attend transfer orientation at your new school, and register for your classes well in advance. Also, don’t forget to complete the “I’m Transferring!” form.

Cassie Baker earned an Associate of Arts degree in Music Composition from ACC and transferred to Texas A&M University - Central Texas. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in Spring '24 with a Bachelor of Arts in Percussion Performance. Cassie plans to grow her private lesson business into a full studio offering hands-on industry experience.


Cassie believes starting at ACC helped her develop the academic mindset necessary for success in a university setting. Her advice to prospective transfer students: "Interview lots of schools and ask questions!"

Jacob Burns works as a Transfer Assistant at ACC’s Career & Transfer Center at Highland Campus. He will complete his Associate's degree this summer and transfer to Texas State University this fall. Jacob’s time at ACC has been enriching, fostering professional growth, making friends, and participating in intramural sports teams.


Jacob’s advice to students intending to transfer: “Take advantage of the resources that both Career and Transfer Services provide. Thinking about the future can be intimidating, but the amazing team at ACC is always very supportive in helping students to take steps in the right direction.”

ACC Celebrates Spring 2024 Grads at Commencement 

ACC celebrated more than 3,000 graduates at the spring 2024 commencement ceremony. Friends and families of graduating students attended the event at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park on Friday, May 17. View photos and get details about the commencement here.


A Journey of Passion and Perseverance: Meet CSAA Winner Theodore Courtois

Theodore Courtois, a first-generation, non-traditional student, graduated with honors in Spring 2024 with an Associate of Science in General Studies. He received ACC’s Chancellor Student Achievement Award and will pursue a Bachelor’s in Aerospace Engineering at Arizona State University. Active in Student Life organizations, the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and the Honors Student Organization at ACC, Theodore also participated in NASA's NCAS and L’SPACE programs. These experiences led to roles as a NASA L’SPACE Program Mentor and NASA LUCY Mission Intern. Read about Theodore’s inspiring journey here.
