"With the designation of Honorary Secretaries of State, Blair and Walker have proven to their school, community, and state that they are committed to seeing more young people in West Virginia voting and playing an active role in our government," said Secretary of State Mac Warner. "Fewer than 30 high schools in the state will receive this prestigious recognition for the 2023-24 school year."
In addition to a tour of the WV Secretary of State’s Office and the State Capitol, Senator Jack David Woodrum recognized Blair and Walker during the State Senate floor session. Senator Woodrum is a representative of Monroe County and serves as Chair of the Senate Committee on Government Organization.
