SMI Helping MoM Campaign!
SERVE MINISTRIES, INC. is a Christian ministry wherein we seek to meet the spiritual needs and make disciples of those who serve, or who have served, in the military or as first responders and their families.
Our vision (in part) is to have well-prepared Chaplains committed to having a positive life impact in their communities and in their individual ministries. We provide Christian Chaplaincy programming and fellowship that empowers our Chaplains to be the very best ministers they can be within their called ministry context.
In doing this, we need your help. We are asking all of our Chaplains and readers to TAKE OWNERSHIP with us in developing, promoting and advancing the good works of SMI. What does it mean to 'Take ownership?' Here's a short list:
- Remind yourself why you became a Chaplain, why you support SMI
- Be proactive instead of reactive
- Offer solutions to challenges
- Volunteer for new assignments or team roles
- Take advantage of learning opportunities
- Develop a forward-thinking attitude
In addition to these, and the thing most people don't like talking about or asking for, is the Money of Ministry (MoM). SMI is launching our 2023 4th Quarter MoM Campaign this month (October 2023) in support of our 'More in '24' campaign to promote ministry development and awareness across the country.
We are asking our Chaplains and readers to "Take Ownership" with us by becoming a Legacy Donor (see below) or pledging $100 by the end of 2023. We simply cannot accomplish this work without your help! So, pray about it, think about it, talk it over with your significant other, and join us in TAKING OWNERSHIP of this most important work.
