Volume 8: December 8, 2022 | |
The stars were shining bright last Saturday night during our flag football league's Pro Bowl game.
Before the all-star game, the season's best players showcased their skills against one another in friendly skills challenges that consisted of the fastest-man competition — a 40-yard dash — the best hands competition, and even a dodgeball game!
Each school selected two Pro Bowl players, all split into different teams for the all-star game. It was a tight game with the team of players sporting school jerseys beating the team of players sporting Asphalt Green jerseys, 14-10. We can't wait to keep the action going with the first round of playoffs this weekend!

Tip of the Week:
Get Open
|
If you're going out for a pass, your main objective is to get open to give the quarterback a place to throw the ball without the risk of interception.
There are a variety of ways to make this happen. Check out these tips on getting open from NFL wide receiver A.J. Green, particularly his advice on alternating running speeds.
This maneuver can be practiced immediately on a play-by-play basis. It'll also keep your opponent guessing, giving you the opportunity to find open space in the defense to complete the pass.
