Blossom Hill Vision Statement – (Abilities and skills we expect our students to acquire and take out into the world)

All students will have the necessary skills to become enthusiastic, life-long learners and productive, empathetic, respectful members of society.

Blossom Hill Mission Statement – (What we need to do as a school community to ensure this happens)

The Blossom Hill School community takes pride in providing an enriched standards-based curriculum in a safe, nurturing environment. We strive to appreciate an awareness of students’ developmental needs to help them progress toward independence.

From the Principal's Desk

Dear Blossom Hill Families:

Mother Nature provided us with a golden afternoon to celebrate our community and all the joys of autumn. Thanks to everyone that came out to support this year’s Harvest Festival and Movie Night last Friday. The combination of these beloved annual traditions resulted in a lovely event due to the leadership and detailed organization of Kerry Newlin, Kristin Hutchinson, and Trista Bernstein. Their enthusiasm was contagious as they worked to organize ticket sales, sponsors, game booths, the Pumpkin Walk, inflatables, chalk drawing with a real chalk artist, food and espresso trucks, popcorn for the movie, a giant movie screen, and the beautiful, festive decorations. Sincere gratitude also goes to the volunteers that helped with the endless jobs and details. This hard working team included:

Nicole Duke, Michelle Avlas, Ellen Feichtmeir, Brittney Ames, Prak Nayak and Sambit Das, Shweta Singhal, Denise Carr, Carrie Endweiss, Galit Goldenthal, Tara Mosley, Steve Fainer, Lucia Thompson, and MaryAnn Carr.

In addition, huge appreciation goes to Mrs. Sheehan, Ms. Rodriguez, and all our Fisher student volunteers, our beloved custodians Mr. Agustin, Mr. Sal, and Mr. Baltazar and our local sponsors Hall & Burnett Orthodontics, All-Pro Tae Kwon Do Studio, LG Roofing, Spenga, Erik Swanson Orthodontics, Green Mountain Retreat, The Coder School, Mathnasium of Campbell/Los Gatos, Los Gatos Little League, Jewish Silicon Valley, VBO Tickets, and Kumon Los Gatos.

The purpose and intention behind the Harvest Festival and Movie Night is to strengthen community and celebrate the season through the eyes of a child. Collaborating together, we were able to do just that!

With joy,

Lisa Reynolds

Help Wanted!

Hicklebee's Bookfair is coming soon!

We need volunteers to help transform our library into our book fair, ring up purchases, or help find books for shoppers. Sign up for a shift or two here

All proceeds from the Hicklebee's Book Fair go directly to our Library to support literacy programs.

Book Fair Gift Certificates - This year Gift Certificate Orders can be done online. Please click here to place your order:

The certificates can be purchased in the amount of $10 or more and will be delivered to your student’s classroom the Monday, Nov. 14th, before the Book Fair. Gift Certificates are a safe way for your child to purchase books without the risk of bringing and possibly losing cash.

They also make a great gift for friends and your favorite teachers!

Please note that Kindergarten classes are not allowed to make purchases without a parent so gift certificates don’t apply for them.

Please direct any questions you may have to our Book Fair Co-Chairs at bookfair@blossomhill.org .
