Issue 33

2022-2023

Blossom Hill Vision Statement – (Abilities and skills we expect our students to acquire and take out into the world)

All students will have the necessary skills to become enthusiastic, life-long learners and productive, empathetic, respectful members of society.

Blossom Hill Mission Statement – (What we need to do as a school community to ensure this happens)

The Blossom Hill School community takes pride in providing an enriched standards-based curriculum in a safe, nurturing environment. We strive to appreciate an awareness of students’ developmental needs to help them progress toward independence.

From the Principal's Desk

Please join us at The Hive this Saturday evening April, 22 from 6-10pm at Campo di Bocce in Los Gatos!

The Hive is all about our school community coming together to celebrate a fantastic year...having fun while raising funds! The goal for the evening is to participate in maintaining the diverse Home & School Club sponsored educational enrichment programs students of all grade levels benefit from at Blossom Hill, this year and for future years. There will be silent auction items as well as live bidding on highlighted items like Principal for a Day, Librarian for a Day, A front row parking spot, and front row reserved seating tickets to 5th grade graduation! You must attend to bid and win auction items, and you won't want to miss out on these prizes.

The Blossom Hill Home & School Club is truly grateful for your ongoing support of our students and staff. Through your generosity we are able to maintain the valuable curriculum and engaging programs that encourage our children to blossom!

See you at The Hive!

April Mileage Club Final Month!

There are 6 mileage club days between now and April 28, our last run/walk day.

More than 35 students could reach the marathon milestone if they run or walk at least a mile per session between now and April 28. Many students could also earn a double marathon award. We encourage you to check in with your student and help them achieve their goals. Medals are awarded to students who run a marathon, trophies are awarded to students who run an ultra/double marathon during the 2022-23 mileage club program. Scanners needed during our power finish line days.
