2022-2023

Blossom Hill Vision Statement – (Abilities and skills we expect our students to acquire and take out into the world)

All students will have the necessary skills to become enthusiastic, life-long learners and productive, empathetic, respectful members of society.

Blossom Hill Mission Statement – (What we need to do as a school community to ensure this happens)

The Blossom Hill School community takes pride in providing an enriched standards-based curriculum in a safe, nurturing environment. We strive to appreciate an awareness of students’ developmental needs to help them progress toward independence.

From the Principal's Desk

Dear Blossom Hill Families,

I want to begin by offering a big THANK YOU to so many of you who have made your One Community LG contribution. With your support we are able to pay for student & teacher supplies, classroom technology, our librarian, music teachers & instruments, PE teachers, our Art teacher & supplies, STEAM Teachers on Special Assignment to support staff and the development of our new STEAM lab, and so much more. We are also able to fund assemblies, and host lively events like Math and STEAM Night, Harvest Fest, The Swarm, Fun Fridays, and plenty of other student engaging and community building, events and activities.

If you have not made your donation for this school year, One Community LG is currently on the home stretch with the Finish Line Campaign which runs from now until Friday, February 17th and there are many options for submitting your contribution. I encourage you to take a look at all of the programs OCLG supports and determine how important those are to you, for your child’s overall educational experience. Ultimately, along with our incredible teachers and staff, you make Blossom Hill the wonderful place it is for our students. Your contributions allow us to create an educational environment where our children are engaged, academically challenged, and thriving!

At Blossom Hill, our goal is for 100% of our families to participate at a level that is appropriate for them. Our current participation rate by grade level is:

Kindergarten 72%

1st grade 60%

2nd grade 55%

3rd grade 68%

4th grade 71%

5th grade 61%.

If you have not taken the opportunity to make your donation, I encourage you to do what you can as we work together to close the gap and cross the finish line.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

In education together,

Lisa Reynolds, Principal
