Aperture magazine is still accepting applications for the 2023 Aperture Portfolio Prize. This prize aims to identify trends in contemporary photography and highlight artists whose work deserves greater recognition. Applicants must be subscribed to the Aperture print magazine.

Award Amount: $3,000 cash; a $1,000 gift card to shop at mpb.com; exhibit in New York
The Good Hart Artist Residency offers a 10-21 day residency for visual artists, writers and composers at any stage in their career. This opportunity includes private home, studio, food and stipend. This residency will take place near Lake Michigan.
Application Deadline: January 11, 2023 at 11:59PM EST
Award Amount: $500 stipend; housing; food
Application Fee: $25
The Studios is MASS MoCA’s artist and wrters residency program situated within the museum’s factory campus and surrounded by the beautiful Berkshie Mountains. This opportunity is open to artists of any nationality, from all career stages, income levels, and disciplines whose practice allows them to work quietly.

Residency Cost: $650/week (financial aid options available) to cover housing and studio cost
The AnkhLave Garden Project Fellowship at Brooklyn Botanic Garden will be selecting five BIPOC artists based in NYC to create site-specific work in both a public space as well as a traditional gallery. Fellows will produce a work under the theme “Branching Out: Trees as Community Hosts”.
