Navaratri 2023

Kamakshi Sahasranama
Vastra Archana
Sat. Oct 21 during noon puja

📅 Saturday, October 21, 2023
🕐 Performed during noon puja
📍6980 East River Road - Sri Vidya Temple

This unique Vastra Archana is a special offering to Kamakshi Devi during this Navaratri. To represent the sacred Siva-Sakti Aikya, a sari and dhoti will be offered for each of her 932 names, symbolizing the divine union of Lord Shiva and Goddess Lalitha.

How to Participate:
We will be conducting the Kamakshi Sahasranama Vastra Archana on Saturday, October 21, 2023 during noon puja. All are welcome to come witness this elaborate unique puja. Devotees are invited to sponsor the vastras that will be offered to Devi. Individuals can sponsor a sari, dhoti or both. Once the archana is complete, the offered saris and dhotis will be given as prasadam to those who have sponsored them.
Please share this unique opportunity with your friends and family so they may also receive the divine blessings of Sri Rajarajeswari during this auspicious Navaratri.
The images of the saris & vestis shown here provide the closest representation of what will be offered during the Vastra Archana, with the possibility of minor variations.
