2022 brought the acquisition of a new asphalt plant at Myrl & Roy’s. In 2023 we will be installing new aggregate feeders as well as a new rap system. A new asphalt hot oil heater will be installed along with a remote asphalt oil tank/ plant monitoring system which will tell us real-time tank levels as well as asphalt oil temperatures, all this information can be accessed from a cell phone app, tablet, or PC. This system can also monitor silo temperatures if asphalt is stored overnight. If the asphalt oil temperature or asphalt stored in the silos drops below a set temperature or the hot oil heater shuts off an alert will be sent to your selected device. All of these upgrades will help reduce downtime and minimize overtime on repairs/maintenance and check heaters on the weekends.

Myrl & Roy's Paving

John Doese started with Mryl & Roy’s paving in 2003 as a Class B driver hauling a little bit of everything in his dump truck. In 2019 he was promoted to truck dispatching. Between following dirt track racing and attending his grandkids activities. John is the face of the Mryl & Roy’s fleet from dispatching trucks hauling asphalt for the asphalt crews to hauling gravel to the grading crews along with keeping the hot plants and concrete plants full of aggregates and with hauling materials for outside sales customers we could not keep the trucking chaos organized without John’s help. Thanks John for everything you do for our team!!!!!
