Rancho News

Volunteer Spotlight

Normajean Janssen has been a Rancho volunteer in various capacities, and earlier last year began docent training and serving at multiple large-scale events such as Cottonwood and Rancho Voices as a greeter. Normajean also helps with Footprints field trips and loves working with the students as they make their bracelets.

When asked why she decided to become a volunteer here, she said, "I wanted to be part of something that links our lives today with the past. A way to honor those who have been before us and try to help keep history alive...the air also just seems nicer to breathe on site."
