Fall Enrollment Is Here!


Fall enrollment is already underway so make sure to check eServices now for your priority enrollment appointment day/time. While there, complete your Supplemental Enrollment form under "Tasks" so you are ready to enroll (it just takes a few minutes). 


Then head over to the Fall 2022 class schedule, which includes a mixture of both in-person and online classes, and pick out what classes you are interested in taking this semester. If your enrollment appointment has passed, you can enroll in your classes in eServices and if your appointment is coming up, you can prepare by putting the classes you want in your cart so you are ready to complete your enrollment when your appointment arrives!

Destress Before Finals


Call the stress puppies! Lend A Heart Therapy Dogs will be on campus on Tuesday, May 3, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm in the ARC STEM Quad area, with music by DJ Stace Lace.

ARC Beaver Cares Produce and Food Distribution


The next Food Distributions will take place on Tuesday, May 3 and May 17, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the driveway west of the Ranch House on the ARC main campus. Details and a map will be emailed to all respondents no later than the day before the distribution. Each vehicle/household may receive non-perishable food items, fresh produce as well as a toiletry kit depending on availability.

Special Student Trustee Election May 3-4


Due to a technical error that occurred in our voting system on April 26 and 27, we will hold a special election for just the districtwide student trustee position on Tuesday, May 3 and Wednesday, May 4. Please log in to eServices and cast your vote for the next Los Rios student trustee between 5:00 am to 11:30 pm on May 3 or 4.


Please note that even if you already cast your vote for student trustee during the regularly scheduled election on April 26 and 27, you will need to log in and cast your vote for student trustee again.

Model UN Club Wins Recognition


ARC’s Model UN Club represented Finland at the 71st Session of the Model United Nations Far West. This year 22 colleges and universities competed remotely with 200 students. ARC’s Molly Thompson was chosen to be one of five student speakers at the Opening Plenary session for best pre-conference documents for Western Europe. The ARC delegation won an award in the Art and Practice of Diplomacy and also received an Outstanding Resolution of the conference in the General Assembly.

Virtual Lavender Celebration 2022

Deadline to Register Extended to May 1


This year we will be hosting the Lavender Celebration on Friday, May 6 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm virtually on Zoom!


If you will be graduating, obtaining a certificate, or transferring in Spring or Summer 2022 and are a Los Rios student who is a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, please consider participating in this Lavender Celebration. This ceremony is a space for LGBTQIA+ students to celebrate their educational achievements and an opportunity to share their struggles and triumphs along their educational journey. We want to celebrate you!

Asian Pacific American Heritage Month


During the month of May, we pay tribute to the generations of Asian and Pacific Islanders who have enriched America's history and are instrumental in its future success. The Library of Congress, National Archives and Records Administration, National Endowment for the Humanities, National Gallery of Art, National Park Service, Smithsonian Institution and United States Holocaust Memorial Museum have curated stories and events in celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.

Jewish American Heritage Month


In May we celebrate Jewish American Heritage Month. The Library of Congress, National Archives and Records Administration, National Endowment for the Humanities, National Gallery of Art, National Park Service and United States Holocaust Memorial Museum join in paying tribute to the generations of Jewish Americans who helped form the fabric of American history, culture and society. Visit jewishheritagemonth.gov for a sample of the digital and physical resources related to Jewish American heritage available from the Library of Congress and other participating agencies.

Full of eccentric characters (in gorgeous costumes), preposterous situations, and rapid fire wit, Earnest is also known for its full-scale skewering of Victorian hypocrisy and social hierarchies. Don't miss your opportunity to see the play considered to be Wilde’s masterpiece!

City Theatre Presents Decision Height


City Theatre at Sacramento City College (SCC) completes its 2021-22 season with the smart, emotional, and witty World War II production Decision Height by Meredith Dayna Levy. Lori Ann DeLappe-Grondin will direct the play about the often-overlooked heroes of the Women Airforce Service Pilots. 

 

The production opens Thursday, April 28, and plays through Saturday, May 7 in the Art Court Theatre of the Performing Arts Center at SCC. Following the Sunday, May 1 performance don’t miss a post-show discussion with the cast and director! 

 

Ticket prices for are $15 General Admission; $10 students, seniors, SARTA members, veterans/military personnel and Persons with Disabilities. There will be a special discounted-ticket performance on Wednesday, May 4 with all tickets $5.

CRC Presents The Comedy of Errors
