Foundation Scholarships Impact Student Lives

Every year, the Los Rios Colleges Foundation scholarship program makes a deep financial impact on the lives of our students. This year, $181,285 was awarded to 204 American River College students. As one ARC scholarship recipient noted:

“As a first year college student after separating from the military, this scholarship will continue to allow me to focus on my studies to attain a Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art, and an Art Education degree in the future. With this education and skills learned in the Air Force, I hope to influence kids positively through my work.” - Anna Golub

Get onboard with REAL ID

REAL ID

The California DMV has created an online REAL ID application page especially for educators, where you can start your application and upload your documents before completing the process at a DMV office. If you have a break this summer, this is a great opportunity to get your REAL ID.

Reminder - if you want to continue using your California driver’s license or identification card to board flights within the United States or enter secure federal facilities, you will need a REAL ID starting May 2023.
