The final rankings are out for the 2021-2022 NATYCAA Cup for California Community College Athletic Association institutions and ARC Athletics finished ranked #5 in the state and #2 in Northern California. Colleges are awarded points based on their teams' final positions in post-conference competition. Way to go Beavers! Learn more at the ARC Athletics website.

The summer term ends Thursday, August 4 with grades due Monday, August 8. The Fall 2022 semester officially kicks off on Saturday, August 20, with most in-person and synchronous online classes having their first session Monday, August 22 through Friday, August 26.

ARC EOP&S/CARE/NextUp is hosting in-person Open Houses at the ARC main campus Student Center, Community Rooms 1 & 2, on Thursday, July 14, 10:00 to 11:15 am, and Wednesday, July 27, 3:00 to 4:15 pm. The open houses will cover:
- EOP&S eligibility and requirements
- EOP&S counselor role and services provided to students
- NextUp eligibility and requirements
- SSRC tutoring services
Students are required to register in advance.
There also will be a virtual open house on Friday, August 5, 3:00 to 4:15 pm, covering the same topics as the in-person events. Students are required to register in advance for this virtual event.

EDC Community Observatory Presents NASA Event
The Community Observatory at Folsom Lake College’s El Dorado Center (EDC) is proud to host a special event with NASA on Saturday, July 30, from 6:30 to 11:00 pm. NASA Solar System Ambassador Tim Pinkney will share exciting, first-ever images from the James Webb Space Telescope stationed a million miles from Earth!
Schedule of Activities:
- 6:00 pm - Doors open. Arrive early as there will be limited seating.
- 6:30 to 7:30 pm - Hands-on STEM activities for kids
- 7:30 to 9:00 pm - Featured speaker NASA Ambassador Tim Pinkney
- 9:00 to 11:00 pm - Stargazing at the Community Observatory (pictured here)
Free parking is available at EDC (6699 Campus Drive in Placerville) in Lot A and then proceed next door to the El Dorado County Office of Education (6767 Green Valley Road in Placerville) to Building L. Admission is free (register in advance). Hope you can join us!
