Plan Your Spring Semester


As the semester winds down, make your plans for spring! Check for your enrollment appointment in eServices and check the class schedule to find the classes you want for spring. 


Consistent with guidance from local public health experts, we continue to strongly recommend wearing masks and appropriate face coverings when indoors. We also strongly recommend that everyone eligible continue to stay up-to-date on their COVID-19 vaccine and booster regimens.

Fall 2022 final exams will be Friday, December 9 - Thursday, December 15. See the schedule now.

A Farewell Celebration for President Dixon on December 6

All are invited on Tuesday, December 6, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm in the Student Center Community Rooms for a farewell celebration for ARC President Melanie Dixon. Join together with ARC employees and students as we thank Melanie for her tireless dedication and leadership to the students, staff, faculty, and administrators of American River College. 


If you are unable to attend, you can share your thoughts on the Kudoboard for Melanie.

Ceramics Sale

The Ceramics X Sale will be Tuesday, December 6 and Wednesday, December 7, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm both days outside the Ceramics Lab in the Fine and Applied Arts area. Student ceramic artwork will be available for sale. We are also raising money for food for the kitties on campus with our kitty bowls and plates.

Football and Volleyball Playoff Success

ARC football and volleyball teams have both been successful in the postseason. ARC football upset host Laney College 43-21 on November 26 in their first playoff action. The Beavers now travel to College of San Mateo for the northern California title game on Saturday, December 3, at 12:00 pm. Live statistics will be available on game day. 

ARC volleyball won its two initial playoff matches and is now at the state championship tournament hosted by Fresno City College. First match is Friday, December 2, at 4:00 pm against Orange Coast College. Follow along with live statistics during the match. This is the fourth consecutive year for ARC to compete at the state tournament. ARC won the state title in 2018. Go Beavers!
