Here’s some incredible news that won't be reported by any major media outlet.

Netroots Nation, the biggest progressive organizers conference in the country, convened last week in Baltimore. Thousands of activists from every state in the country attended. I had the privilege to be one of them. Unlike Republicans, we are the party of free thinkers who question authority. We’re also just over 100 days from an election that will decide the fate of our democracy. So I expected lots of infighting.

There was none.

It was the most unity I have ever seen in a giant progressive gathering. There was an unspoken but rock-solid sense that if we all keep our heads down and continue to do the work, we will win. No matter what.

The media has completely missed the story of the Resistance – this massive, historic, national grassroots movement – the invisible hand that has won every major election since 2016. The media believes the most important thing is our candidate. The truth is: the name at the top of the ticket almost does not matter. 

Candidates do not decide elections. Voters do.

And so do the activists who register and turn out those voters.

So do not give in to the confusion and despair in the media. 

We know things they do not.

The state of the Resistance is strong and getting stronger.

Keep showing up - keep volunteering - keep donating. 

And in November, the media will report that by some inexplicable comeback miracle, WE WON.
