Quote and application tool enhancements



Enhancements have been made to the Advisor Online Quote and Application tool to support the launch of the new Retiree Personal Health Plan, which has a modular, flexible design. These changes are not limited to the retiree product; they apply to all Personal Health Plans, including Blue Choice, Conversion, Guaranteed Acceptance and the new Retiree Personal Health Plan.

The updates offer a more intuitive and streamlined experience, making it easier than ever for advisors and clients to quote and apply confidently.

Process support available

Step-by-step procedures and updated workflows are available within the Advisor Learning Centre > Resources > Health Plans section to help you confidently navigate the new application flow.

Conversion Plan update

With the exciting release of our Retiree Personal Health Plan, we are also pleased to announce that we have updated the eligibility window for our Conversion Personal Health Plan. Previously, applications had to be received by our office within 60 days of cancellation of the member’s group benefits plan.

Effective immediately, coverage for Conversion policies must be in effect no later than 90 days after the termination of coverage under the previously held group benefits plan. We believe increasing this time frame will provide applicants the opportunity to thoroughly review plan details to ensure they are choosing a plan that best suits their needs.
