October 2024
Dear Brother and Sisters in Christ,
Greetings in the Savior's Name. It is wonderful to write to you again and to thank you for your support for the work of IRBS. We are thrilled at what the Lord is doing. Recently, we admitted our 100th student, and more have applied since. Our plans for the January and Spring terms are coming together very nicely. Two Spurgeon scholars, Drs. Ed Romine and Brandon Rhea will be offering an elective course on aspects of Spurgeon's thought January 13-16, and our biennial missions course will again be offered on the Radius International campus in Tijuana, Mexico during the week of January 27-31. These January courses will lead into our regular semester schedule beginning in February. Praise the Lord!
Thank you for your prayers and your support. Great things are happening!
In Christ,
James M. Renihan
President, IRBS

| | Introducing the IRBS BDiv | | |
With the new academic year, our diploma program is now a BDiv (Baccalaureate in Divinity) program!
Like the Diploma Program, the BDiv is designed to give mature students (30 and above) an opportunity to study at IRBS who have not yet earned a bachelor’s degree. It is an exact reflection of our MDiv program, 110 credits that may be completed in a minimum of 3 years of full-time enrollment. It will also require completion of 600 hours of ministry internship work. The courses can be completed residentially, online, or a hybrid of the two. Students who are accepted into this program will be on temporary academic probation, which will be lifted after 15 credits are completed with a GPA of 2.0 or higher. BDiv students will participate in class as any other student would, regarding assignments, examinations and class participation.
The BDiv will be a degree granting program. Upon completion of the program, a bachelor’s degree will be conferred to graduates.
