September 2024
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
Many times when I have visited churches I have asked the question 'who will be the pastor for your grandchildren?' That inquiry is regularly on my mind. September has come, marking the beginning of a new semester for our faculty and students. This is a good time to remember our task--to bring the 'pattern of sound words' we have received and pass it on to faithful men who will be able to teach it to others (2 Timothy 1:13-2:2). We desire to be faithful to this task so that there will be a continual supply of well-trained men to serve the next generation. But how is this labor proceeding? The Lord has abundantly blessed our work. We have seen a continual increase in our student body, so that we now have the largest enrollment ever; our international presence is growing, for we now have students from five continents, and opportunities to develop new relationships seem to be arriving every week.
But the task is great, and can only proceed with the Lord's blessing. Thank you for your prayers and support. Please continue to pray. I deeply appreciate your faithful and loving assistance. Pray that Christ will be honored, souls will be brought to faith and saints will be built up in our most holy faith.
In Christ's Service,
James M. Renihan
President, IRBS

MDiv student, Jeremey Ashe, has this to say of his experiences in this class:
This course is a must take! IRBS and Radius International do not disappoint when it comes to bringing you reformed theological training in missions and an on the ground experience in a safe and quality environment in Tijuana. Students will not only learn but will develop bonds with their fellow co-laborers in Christ. One of my favorite parts about this course is our ability to interact with Radius students who are prospective missionaries. Being able to hear their stories and interact with them is a once in a lifetime experience. Additionally, meeting fellow IRBS students in person is always a pleasure. Lastly, the accommodations of Radius in terms of staff, housing, and other accommodations (tacos!) are superb. If you are not available, clear your schedule and get out there. You won’t be disappointed.

| | Introducing the IRBS BDiv | | |
With the new academic year, our diploma program is transitioning into a BDiv (Baccalaureate in Divinity) program!
Like the Diploma Program, the BDiv will be designed to give mature students (30 and above) an opportunity to study at IRBS who have not yet earned a bachelor’s degree. It is an exact reflection of our MDiv program, 110 credits that may be completed in a minimum of 3 years of full-time enrollment. It will also require completion of 600 hours of ministry internship work. The courses can be completed residentially, online, or a hybrid of the two. Students who are accepted into this program will be on temporary academic probation, which will be lifted after 15 credits are completed with a GPA of 2.0 or higher. BDiv students will participate in class as any other student would, regarding assignments, examinations and class participation.
The BDiv will be a degree granting program. Upon completion of the program, a bachelor’s degree will be conferred to graduates.
