The Master of Science in Finance program had another strong year with significant growth

Recent MSF graduating classes have totaled about 50 students, which has almost doubled from the graduating class sizes three years ago and prior.

The increase in students isn’t just adding numbers to the program – it’s strengthening the student quality. Class of 2026 students came in with an average SAT score of 1472, up from 1464 in the Class of 2025 and 1452 in the Class of 2024. The three incoming classes average a UF GPA of 3.9

The Gator Student Investment Fund (GSIF) continues to grow

GSIF includes more than 40 students that research, pitch, perform valuation and manage the fund’s $1,250,000 assets under management. GSIF also gave $31,500 in its annual distribution to the Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars Program.

MSF students won several case competitions

We continue to strengthen the student experience because of your support

It’s improving the classroom experience, creating opportunities for more trainings and continuing to bring quality speakers to campus. These are pillars of the MSF program and play in integral role in preparing students for their careers, and they wouldn’t be possible without you.

Even as MSF graduating classes continue to get larger, our placement numbers remain strong. From New York City to Houston to Atlanta, MSF graduates are being hired by the top firms across the United States. In the Class of 2024, 100% of graduates were placed full-time. They had an average salary of $99,188 and more than 65% of them had a starting salary above $100,000. Eighty-four percent earned a junior summer internship return offer, and our Class of 2025 had 100% summer 2024 internship placement.

Thank you for your continued investment in the MSF program. It truly makes a difference for our students. Join the 66 MSF alumni who gave in the last year and make your gift today.

“In almost every one of my professional interactions since joining the program, people and employers were always curious to learn about my experience as an undergraduate student taking graduate-level coursework. Entering the workforce with a graduate degree so early on and equipped with the wealth of knowledge I gained in just four short years not only enables me to jumpstart my career but also to make an impact from day one. The MSF program has been instrumental to both my academic and professional success, and I am extremely grateful to have been part of such an esteemed group of peers, faculty and mentors.” Ryan Jacks, MSF 2024
