Thank you for joining our latest Meet & Greet!

On Friday, January 30, the first Meet & Greet event of 2026 was held at the PRMSDC headquarters, where President Francisco S. Cabrera and Director Reina Reyes, alongside their team, warmly welcomed all attendees. The gathering served as a valuable platform for connection and collaboration among council members.

The MBE Suppliers Committee (MBEIC) was represented by José Ramírez and Nelly Feliciano, who shared the Council’s current initiatives and highlighted key opportunities available for certified suppliers. PRMSDC Board of Directors Yolanda Vázquez from Lilly and Melvin Rodríguez from Boston Scientific encouraged MBEs to maximize the value of their certification, stay active in Council events, keep their documentation up to date, and remain persistent in their business growth.

The following companies were recognized for their participation, which greatly enriched networking and peer exchange during the event:

Events like this reaffirm PRMSDC’s commitment to providing a platform that empowers MBEs to expand their network, strengthen strategic partnerships, and grow alongside the Council—all while promoting sustainable business development.

According to Morning Consult (link?), households earning $100,000 or more—who have been the primary drivers of U.S. spending growth over the past year—have seen consumer sentiment decline by more than 12% in just the past month. This magnitude of decline is unusual outside recessionary periods and is notable because it is not being driven by a stock market crash, but by rising labor-market anxiety, pay-loss expectations, and uncertainty tied to automation and AI.
