Greetings, fellow Viking Alumni,
My name is Johnny Agbulos, and it is an incredible honor to serve as your new Alumni Liaison for the La Jolla High School Foundation.
As a 2016 graduate of La Jolla High School and a current assistant varsity baseball coach, I have been fortunate enough to experience this school from both sides—as a student-athlete who once benefited from the support of our Foundation and now as a coach helping guide the next generation of Vikings.
Giving back to La Jolla High School has been a long-standing goal of mine. During my time as a student-athlete, I was fortunate to experience firsthand the impact that the Foundation and our alumni community can have on the student experience. The opportunities, resources, and experiences provided to us helped shape who I am today, and I feel incredibly fortunate to now have the opportunity to give back to the place that gave me so much.
My hope as Alumni Liaison is to continue strengthening the relationship between our campus and the incredible network of Viking alumni who have carried the spirit of La Jolla High School with them long after graduation. I believe our alumni community is one of the greatest resources our school has, and I want to help create more opportunities for alumni to stay connected, get involved, and continue making an impact on the students who walk these halls today.
After graduating from La Jolla High School in 2016, I continued my education at San Diego Mesa College, earning my Associate Degree in Education in 2021. I then attended San Francisco State University, where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Education in 2023 while also serving as an undergraduate assistant coach for the University's NCAA Division II baseball program.
In 2024, I had the incredible opportunity to return to my alma mater as a member of the Viking baseball coaching staff. Being welcomed back to La Jolla High School in a role where I can mentor and serve the same community that helped shape me has been one of the greatest honors of my young career.
Now, I am excited to expand that commitment beyond the baseball field. My goal is simple: to give back to La Jolla High School and help create the same kind of meaningful experiences for today's students that I was fortunate enough to have as a Viking. I look forward to building an even stronger alumni family, reconnecting generations of Vikings, and finding new ways for our alumni to remain an active and meaningful part of the La Jolla High School community.

I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve, and I can't wait to see what we can build together.
