Hello everyone,

I hope you are enjoying your summer.

It has been a pleasure to see so many of you at various Family Days and get-togethers where we enjoy conversation and great homecooked food.

The Bronx District Attorney’s Office was well represented at National Night Out, as everyone from volunteer support staff to Division Chiefs engaged with residents all over the Bronx and informed them of our programs. It is always nice to get feedback from the diverse communities we serve.

My Office has been very productive in the courts, as far as bringing justice in cases of violence. Unfortunately, we are still dealing with too many shootings. We are continuing our fight to get guns off the street and prosecute those who possess them and use them.

Last Thursday we announced the indictment of a man who had a stockpile of guns, ammunition and more than four pounds of heroin and fentanyl in his apartment—a recipe for disaster. I thank the NYPD for recovering these deadly items. Their action and hard work has made the community safer. The investigation continues by my Office’s Violent Criminal Enterprise and Special Investigations Bureaus.”

Sincerely,
DA Clark
