Hello everyone,

Our prayers go out to the people of Puerto Rico who are devastated because of Hurricane Fiona, which has left eight dead in its path. The Bronx is home to a huge number of Puerto Ricans, and many of my staff are of Puerto Rican heritage.

Massive power outages, lack of running water, flooding and landslides have upended lives. It brings flashbacks of Hurricane Maria five years ago, also a Category 4 storm, from which the island is still recovering.

Time and time again, the people of Puerto Rico have shown their strength and resilience. Our hearts are with them and those in the path of the storm, including the people of the Dominican Republic, Guadeloupe, Bermuda and Turks and Caicos.

In service,

DA Clark,

Bronx District Attorney

Defendants Diego Suero, 33, and Frederick Then, 24, issued the initial kill order on the teen. “Junior’s family has suffered immensely and will forever miss him. We hope today’s sentence brings some peace to them and the Bronx community. Those who choose gang life need to know this is where it endsstate prison for the rest of your life,” said DA Clark.

NYPD's Together We Stop The Violence

Bronx DA Clark and staff attended the NYPD’s “Together We Stop the Violence” event on September 17, 2022. The community connected with local police officers at the 44th Precinct. Ending the violence in our communities is something we all have to fight for together. This event was a wonderful display of unity for peace.

Student Safety

Bronx DA Clark attended a back to school meeting with all of Bronx school superintendents to discuss school safety. Building partnership is vital to ensuring safe and healthy learning environments. The event was sponsored by Youth Leaders On The Move. The Bronx District Attorney's Office is working with all community stakeholders and the Department of Education to ensure our children can travel to and from school safely.

53rd Annual African American Day Parade

It was a perfect afternoon in Harlem to celebrate the achievements and culture of African American heritage at the 53rd Annual African American Day Parade. Thousands of people played games, danced in the streets and proudly waved the red, green and black African flag. Bronx DA Clark enjoyed walking in the parade and connecting with the community. DA Clark posed with Assemblywoman Inez Dickens, Jackie Rowe Adams of Harlem Mothers and Fathers, and  U.S. Rep. Adriano Espaillat.
