Registration Open: Nurturing Developing Minds Conference

Please join us for the 2023 Nurturing Developing Minds conference from February 23-24 at the Greenville ONE Center in Greenville, South Carolina. This continuing professional development conference attracts a wide array of researchers, policymakers, medical practitioners, and educators to provide an interactive learning and networking opportunity.

Harvard Center on the Developing Child Launches IDEAS Impact Toolkit

Our collaborator, the Harvard Center on the Developing Child, has launched a website housing the IDEAS Impact Toolkit, a free digital resource to support early childhood innovators in expanding their impact. Members of the EC PRISM team participated in the development of this framework of early childhood program development and evaluation. Learn more about this free resource below!

Applications Now Open: J.M.K. Innovation Prize!

The J.M. Kaplan Fund is now accepting applications for the J.M.K. Innovation Prize. This prize seeks to identify, support, and elevate innovators who are spearheading transformative early-stage projects in the fields of the environment, heritage conservation, and social justice. The Fund will provide each of the 10 awardees with $175,000 as well as valuable support and training.  

NAEYC Resource: Celebrating Black History Month by Welcoming Black Dads 

The National Association for the Education of Young Children has released an article on supporting Black fathers: Welcoming Black Dads: Action Steps and Reflections on Becoming Culturally Competent, which focuses on centering and uplifting the experiences of Black fathers within early education settings.
