THE HEALING WALL. The Traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall will be at the Veterans Healing Farm, November 9 - 12. During this time BULLETS & BANDAIDS will also have an art exhibition of Vietnam Veteran stories at the Farm, a display of Vietnam War dioramas by Vietnam Veteran Samuel J. Elliott, as well as Vietnam Veteran readings from Brothers and Sisters Like These, and a presentation from Quilts of Valor.
We are looking for community volunteers to help set-up, staff, and take down the Traveling Memorial Wall. The Wall will be open 24 hours a day while at the Farm for visitors. If you would like to help out, please click below and we will provide you with more details. Thank you!

OPENING CEREMONY

***PARKING SHUTTLE SERVICE AVAILABLE TO SEE THE TRAVELING VIETNAM MEMORIAL WALL***
On Saturday, November 11, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. parking shuttles will run from parking areas at Mills River Brewing, Bold Rock Cidery Mills River, and the Historic Courthouse in downtown Hendersonville.
Park at one of these locations and hop on the shuttle to see the Wall!

Veterans Community Day (Free)
This is the traditional 'Make Your Own' in both the Hot Shop (you'll make a glass paperweight, cup, or ornament, ages 13+) and the Flame Shop (create a unique piece of glass art, ages 11+).There is no charge for Veterans, active duty, and their families.

January Herbal Elixirs + Cordials and Chocolates
Learn the art of crafting herbal cordials and elixirs by blending herbs, spices, and spirits to create delightful libations blended to nurture the heart and soul. The word cordial is derived from the Latin 'cor,' meaning heart. Cordials are typically shared between friends to bring heart to a situation; therefore, the heart is at the core of cordial making and taking. In this class, you will learn about the history of Cordials, and how to make your own, plus you will go home with your own creative concoction to share with friends and family.
