Shrubs (no, not that kind of shrub)

with Patrina

Shrubs, also known as "drinking vinegars," are excellent for making mocktails because they offer a complex, sweet, and tangy flavor profile without the need for alcohol. They were historically used to preserve fruit before refrigeration and have been revived by modern mixologists. The concentrated syrup provides a depth of flavor that can easily be mixed with sparkling water, tonic, or club soda for an instant, refreshing mocktail.

Shrubs are a great way to make mocktails just in time for your holiday parties. In this class you will learn to make fruit and vinegar based shrubs. We will be making a Pineapple Mint shrub, a Cherry Vanilla shrub and a Ginger Lemon shrub. We will also be sampling a few other flavors.
