✯ MONTGOMERY COUNTY REPUBLICAN PARTY ✯
| | Calling All Patriots To Get in the Game | |
On a rainy morning, Sept. 13, 1814, Francis Scott Key watched as the British began "vomiting shot and shell in a sheet of fire and brimstone" for more than 25 hours on Fort McHenry in Baltimore Harbor. The bombardment came just two weeks after the British had burned Washington, D.C., including the Capitol, the Treasury, and the White House. When darkness fell, Key saw only red shells erupting in the dark sky. He had no doubt that the British would win, signaling the end of the new Republic.
But when "dawn's early light" broke over Fort McHenry, Key saw not the Union Jack, but the battered American flag still flying, declaring an American victory.

Attorney Martin Etwop explains how becoming an American shaped his future and why he still thanks God for the gift and the privilege of being called an American. "America is the only nation that values the right to be an individual created in the image of God," Etwop says. "I will do everything that I possibly can to defend, protect, and fight for this blessing called America."

| | Introducing the Montgomery County First Business Alliance | |
The Marketing Committee is pleased to announce its newest initiative, Montgomery County First Small Business Alliance or MOCO 1st. The purpose is to connect local businesses that respect and practice pro-American, Christian, Conservative, old-fashioned family traditions with consumers who want to be able to go into a store or business and know they will not be bombarded with offensive and immoral displays and signage.
It is our belief, as Republicans, that most people want to shop in an atmosphere that is family-friendly and respectful of their views and values, and they want to and will support local businesses over the big box “woke” stores. Businesses that agree to and follow the MOCO 1st Principles will be listed on our website, mctxgop.org, so consumers can easily locate family-friendly shops.
If you are a local business owner/manager and would like to know more about this program, please email us at info@mctxgop.org or fill out our Contact Us form.
