Though it wasn't sponsored by the Anchor House Foundation, the Almost Annual New Year's Day Ride continues to attract AH folk, including longtime veterans. See our Facebook Group for postings about other off-season riding opportunities.

Happy New Year!

Shovel, then Register

You might be shoveling snow and dealing with the realities of January, but we’re here to remind you of the joys of riding in July. Registration opens tomorrow for the July 12-19 Anchor House Ride for Runaways Classic Ride. We hope you will join us as we ride from Geneva, NY, to the Quakerbridge Mall, with stops in Corning, Binghamton, Scranton, Stroudsburg and Clinton.

While you’re registering, please encourage a family member, friend or neighbor who isn’t a cyclist to join you as a member of our Support Team. We need people for SAG stops, rovers and the Yellow Truck. Registration is open through March 20.

Are you having problems viewing these emails with Outlook when using your computer?

Does some or all of the text appear wider than your screen and you have to scroll to the right to see the end of a sentence? You're not alone.

You need to 1) change a setting in Outlook and then 2) close and open Outlook. The change to the settings does not hold unless you close and open Outlook.

(An alternative to changing the settings, you can also click the View as Webpage link at the top of the email.)

To change the setting in Outlook, go to File, then Options, then Mail. Scroll all the way down.

Under the Message Format section, add a checkmark to "Reduce message size by removing format information not necessary to display the message."

Close and open Outlook.
