Great job so far! You’re probably anxious to build a quote, make a booking or start advertising your new business to friends and family. But before you do, now is a good time to revisit the compliance rules you learned previously.
Why Do We Care About Compliance? Compliance rules are there to protect you, the thousands of other InteleTravel Agents, and the brand reputation built over the last 30 years. You always want to be viewed by travel partners, potential customers and other industry members as a true professional. InteleTravel Agents are free to market their travel selling services by any method you choose (in print, in person, or online.) But no matter what method you choose, be sure that you are following these compliance tips:
- You are an independent Travel Advisor: that means you are advertising your travel selling knowledge and skills so you can book amazing vacations for your customers.
- Never use Partner logos/names unless you are sharing partner supplied material, or you are advertising your partner knowledge.
- Never (ever) mix your InteleTravel business with any other business by name, logo or product.
