Professional Development

The SCCOE Professional Learning Portal provides a comprehensive list of SCCOE professional learning opportunities and events offered to teachers, administrators, coaches, support staff, parents/guardians, students, and partners. As soon as an event registration is open to the public, it shows up at the PL Portal in real-time. In addition, portal visitors can use the interactive feature to search for SCCOE professional offerings and events by category, program, keywords, and date range.

Professional Development Highlight

As LEAs across California pilot and adopt new math materials, the real opportunity lies in using curriculum as a catalyst for meaningful instructional shifts. This series supports educators, leaders, and adoption teams in making equity-centered decisions aligned with the California Mathematics Framework. Together, we'll explore tools and practices that center student thinking, elevate educator voice, and sustain long-term pedagogical growth. Join us in this three-session workshop starting on February 25, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
