The Arizona Workforce Summit 2026 was held June 9–10 at the Mesa Convention Center, bringing together workforce professionals, educators, employers, and community partners from across the state. Hosted by the Arizona Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO), Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES), and Governor's Workforce Arizona Council, the summit focused on strengthening Arizona's workforce and preparing for future economic growth.

A highlight for Coconino County was the recognition of Coconino Community College's Class A CDL Training Program as a 2026 WIOA High Impact Training (HIT) Program.
Summit speakers highlighted Arizona's projected growth of more than 700,000 jobs by 2030 and showcased statewide workforce initiatives, including apprenticeship programs, advanced manufacturing training, and innovative tools to help workforce partners prepare for emerging industry needs.
The event reinforced the importance of collaboration among employers, educators, workforce professionals, and community organizations as Arizona continues to build a strong talent pipeline for the future.
