Export Sales Reporting Program Key for Farm Profitability

Based on a recent study conducted by Mercantile, Canadian farmers operate at a significant information disadvantage compared to producers in competing regions such as the U.S. and EU, who have robust reporting and transparency systems.


APAS and SaskCrops call on the Federal Government for the creation of an Export Sales Reporting program, so Canadian farmers have timely access to sales and export data.

Canadian Barley Research Coalition to fund CDC $1.8 million

CBRC announced it will provide $1.8 million in funding over three years to the University of Saskatchewan's Crop Development Centre (CDC), to extend the core breeding agreement and support the development of varieties with improved agronomics, disease resistance and end-use quality.
