PARENTS MEETINGS - NOVEMBER 19 & 20
Parent-teacher meetings are coming up soon!
For high school, on November 4, 5, and 9, you will receive a link to schedule your appointment from your child’s homeroom teacher or their sector secretary. For more information on how these meetings will be conducted, please read the letter from the high school principals.
As for elementary school, the homeroom teachers will send you an email on November 5 starting at 7 a.m., with a link to their calendar, so you can choose the time slot that works best for you. For more information, please read the letter from the principal, Ms. Chagnon, regarding this matter.
Please note that you can still register your elementary school child for the Daycare activity days if you'd like. You'll find the details in the «daycare section» of the newsletter.
IMPORTANT REMINDER
The format for parent-teacher meetings remains the same as it has been for several years: you must attend your meeting with your child.
For each parent-teacher meeting period (in November and March), two days are set aside on our school calendar. Given the personalized nature of these meetings and the time each homeroom teacher dedicates to each family, we aim to maintain a balance between your time with your child’s teacher, instructional time, and the professional development time for our teachers scheduled during pedagogical days.
It is therefore with this in mind that the school’s board of directors has approved this year’s arrangement: the first parent-teacher meeting day is listed on the calendar as a school day (November 19 and March 11), while the second is a pedagogical day (November 20 and March 12). However, on both of these days, students are expected to arrive only at the time of their meeting, accompanied by their parents.
This means that there will be no regular classes on November 19, 2026, and March 11, 2027. Therefore, the procedures for a pedagogical day will apply, which means that school transportation will not be provided.
Your child should therefore come with you only at the time of their meeting.

In order to ensure the safety of all our students and staff members during drop-off and pick-up times, we would like to remind you of some important instructions regarding parking in and around our school.
We encourage you to take two minutes to read them, as the safety of the community remains a priority.

| | ROBOTICS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH FUSION JEUNESSE | | |
This year, we are fortunate to be supported by Fusion Jeunesse. Thanks to this inspiring partnership, many of our students are taking part in innovative and engaging projects:
In 4ᵉ année and Grade 4: Students dive into the world of technology through activities in robotics, programming, and working with electrical circuits.
In high school, 9th grade—English-speaking sector: our students are also developing their technological and scientific skills through hands-on workshops.
These projects allow our students to develop their critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork skills, while being introduced to the technologies of tomorrow in a fun and practical way.
We are very proud to see our students engage in these learning experiences with such curiosity and energy!

Are you a biologist, nutritionist, refrigeration technician, or an obstacle course champion? Do you know everything there is to know about pandas, make chocolate, sing in an opera, or sew pajamas?
We want this day to give our 5th- and 6th-grade students the chance to discover the diversity of passions and the opportunities to shine. Because an inspired student is much more likely to persevere, we need to help them find their passion! Who better than you to guide them on this wonderful journey?
We’re looking for parent volunteers to come and interactively share their profession or passion on December 11. You don’t need to be a professional speaker—your authenticity and an item that symbolizes your work or hobby will be enough to capture the students’ curiosity.

NOVEMBER - PARENT INFORMATION SHEET | |
In our “Parent Information Sheet” section, we’re talking about EMOTIONS this month!
«When words fail to convey a need or a feeling, standard expression gives way to the body or to raw emotion, often awkwardly: a word too many, a abrupt gesture... A language disorder can build a wall between a request and its fulfillment. The child tries to communicate their need, fails to do so, and emotion (anger, fear, or sadness) then becomes the means to draw attention to what is wrong.»
