Two events, one goal: their success

/ A memorable day at the Kanawaki Golf Club

It was in a friendly atmosphere and in the company of our guest of honor, Steve Bégin, that we had the pleasure of welcoming golfers, partners, and friends of the Foundation for a day filled with smiles, conversation, and generosity last Monday for the 26th edition of our golf tournament.

Thanks to their commitment and support, we raised $94,000, which will help support the Foundation's four philanthropic priorities.

We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who contributed to this great success. Transport Scolaire Élite, which transported golfers from hole to hole throughout the day; Sika Canada, without whom the Party Cart would not have been so festive; Soprema which provided players with pro tips in the morning; and all the hole sponsors (Groupe Investors Financial Services, Meridian Adhésives, BNY Investments Canada, Souris Mini, Kovitz Investment Group, Lucid Motors, Triasima, Lorica Investment Strategies/Cidel, Van Lanschot Kempen NV, JP Morgan, Scotia Bank, Brown Advisory et Montoni Construction) and service sponsors: Ferri Immobilier, Buddha Brands, Bièrerie Shelton, BBQ Crocs, Home Trust, Café Milano Montreal, Laiterie Coaticook et IGA Pointe-Claire. Of course, our volunteers did an extraordinary job of making this day enjoyable for our guests.

We are already looking forward to seeing you again for the 27th edition on September 14, 2026, and reliving together these unique moments where sport, fun, and solidarity come together.

/ When culture brings us together: an inspiring happy hour

On August 26, at the gallery of painter Stéphanie Goulet, we enjoyed an unforgettable evening: the launch of the Samira Gaudreau Scholarship.

Surrounded by people from the political, financial, and philanthropic communities, guests had the privilege of immersing themselves in the artistic world of the talented Stéphanie through a tour of her inspiring paintings, displayed alongside those of Samira and the winners of the 2025 Samira Gaudreau Scholarship.

It was a moment filled with emotion and pride, marking the birth of a promising project. The Samira Gaudreau Fund's mission is to open the doors of arts and culture to students at Vanguard School. Thanks to everyone's generosity and commitment, we have taken a first decisive step toward realizing this initiative.

We would like to express our gratitude to all those who made this event possible, as well as to the guests in attendance, including the Ministre de la Culture et des Communications, Mathieu Lacombe, who honored us with his presence.

This event is just the beginning of a wonderful adventure in which Samira's memory and talent will enable young people with learning disabilities to shine through their own talents.

/ Our mission

Mobilizing financial resources to provide Vanguard School with the means necessary to achieve its objectives. Through fundraising and seeking financial support, we promote its unique expertise in teaching students with severe learning disabilities.

The Foundation supports the School's projects in four main areas:

  1. Assistance to students from low-income families, to ensure financial support for tuition, transportation, and meals.
  2. Developing and maintaining the Vanguard School's infrastructure to provide our students with a modern learning environment adapted to their needs.
  3. Funding innovative educational projects to promote academic success for students with learning difficulties and offer them tailored solutions.
  4. Promoting access to arts and culture through the Samira Gaudreau Fund.
