Public Meeting for the Route 1 at Telegraph Road and Woodstock Lane Improvement Project

Stafford County is investing $57 million in transportation safety improvements across the community. This $12.5 million project focuses on realigning the intersection of Route 1 and Telegraph Road and installing a left-turn lane on Route 1 at Woodstock Lane. It is one of several road improvement projects planned for this year designed to alleviate traffic concerns and enhance safety.

The Business Acumen Series (BAS) is back! Designed to equip professionals with essential skills, this series of one-day seminars helps businesses build stronger teams, sharpen strategies, and lead with confidence.

The Stafford EDA has invested in 50 seats to the Business Acumen Series to support the Stafford Business Community with educational resources. You may be eligible to attend these educational sessions on behalf of the Stafford EDA. Each seminar is valued at $275. Be sure to take advantage of this opportunity while it lasts! V-TOP Workshop: Developing Our Workforce Through Internships

The Virginia Talent + Opportunity Partnership (V-TOP) is a workforce development accelerator that provides students and businesses with resources to optimize the mutual benefits of work-based learning. Our regional V-TOP representative, the Rappahannock Work and Learn Collaborative, is offering a free workshop designed to help organizations learn how to develop high-quality, mutually beneficial internship experiences, satisfy the training prerequisite to qualify for state-funded support (50% funding match and/or staffing agency services) for creating or expanding an internship program, and network with other local employers.
