YWCA MUSKOKA ANNOUNCES RECIPIENTS OF THE
2026 WOMEN OF DISTINCTION AWARDS

The awards will be formally presented at the Gala on April 2, 2026 at Deerhurst Resort. Attendees will enjoy dinner, a silent auction, mingling and the awards presentation. Gala Tickets are available now at ywcamuskoka.com for $175 per person ($160 for YWCA Members).
Proceeds from YWCA Muskoka’s Women of Distinction Gala support the charity’s educational programs and social services for women of all ages, youth and community members throughout Muskoka. Help support this exciting sport event. Several volunteer positions are available on Saturday, March 28 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, March 29 from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Volunteer positions include:
💦 Event timers,
💦 Runners,
💦 In-water equipment crew,
💦 General volunteers and more.
Volunteers do not need to be available for the entire day, every shift helps.
Each volunteer will receive an event volunteer t-shirt and refreshments. High-school aged volunteers will be eligible to receive documentation towards their 40-hours of community service. All volunteers must be at least 13 years old to participate.

The Rising Star Exhibition celebrates the creativity and talent of local high school students from across the Muskoka District. This year’s theme, Echoes of Time, invites students to capture a memory, moment, or vision—personal, present, or imagined—that leaves a lasting impression. Working in any medium, these young artists share their stories through painting, sculpture, textiles, photography, and more.
