You Are Invited to a Complimentary Workshop over Zoom on Executive Function

• Zoom Webinar, look for the link in your school division newsletters

Andi Sachs, MS, OTR/L, EFC is a licensed occupational therapist with over a decade of experience specializing in executive function development. She has taught and coached students as a member of Cooke’s faculty and in private practice for more than five years and earned her Executive Function Consultant certification in 2021. Andi leads professional development workshops and webinars presented through the Cooke Institute and supports educators by developing practical tools and frameworks for embedding executive function skills into daily instruction.

Cooke School is proud to announce that we are offering the benefits of Andi's expertise directly to our families. Andi is presenting a complimentary workshop that introduces the foundations of executive function and provides ways for Cooke parents and caregivers to support these skills at home. This workshop, free for Cooke families, represents an important step in ensuring that families have access to the same high-quality EF practices that anchor our instructional approach at Cooke. We are delighted to offer Cooke families direct access to this essential knowledge, further strengthening the home–school partnership that underpins student success.

Annual Giving Campaign Goal Achieved! YOU Made it Happen!

Over the holidays, we asked you to dig deep and help us reach a $300,000 Annual Giving Campaign goal. You did it! Thanks to your generosity and support, we surpassed our goal, raising a total of $366,000 in gifts. With this highly successful campaign, we have reached our total annual giving campaign goal six months earlier than usual.

This means that vital programs and policies, such as our free afterschool program, school lunch, and need-blind admission, will continue to be supported for another year. We knew we could count on the Cooke community – our thanks to everyone who donated (and made a difference)!

Cooke School and Institute is NYC's premier independent school educating neurodivergent students and those with mild to moderate cognitive or developmental disabilities ages 5-21 across campuses in East Harlem and SoHo.
