The FOMA AI Taskforce, led by Chair Kayvan Amini, DO, FACC, convened this week to discuss the potential benefits and challenges of AI note takers in medical appointments, along with scheduling a board meeting.
The Public Health Task Force Committee, led by Marie Florent-Carre, also met to review a proposition from Dr. Hock regarding House Bill 353, which aims to ensure patients with serious illnesses receive the care they need. Additionally, the team explored the theme of wellness for the upcoming year, focusing on lifestyle medicine, disaster medicine, and public health preparedness, with a presentation by Dr. Deborah Gracia.
